The Post-pandemic World

It was the morning of 11th March 2020 when the people all around the world woke up to an announcement from the World Health Organization which declared the Covid-19 virus as a global pandemic. It did not take more than few hours for the fear to spread among the people which resulted in all the jobs and businesses coming to a halt. Everybody was told to stay in quarantine in their respective houses and the only thing which was felt in the streets was the fear of getting infected. The governments had to take the responsibility and wearing masks to reduce the transmission became a necessity. Months passed by and the fear slowly started fading away as the need of essential needs was to be taken care of. Everybody started learning the things they should do and the things they shouldn’t to stop the spread. It is also evident that the only way out of this pandemic situation is the invention of a vaccine. All the major countries around the world have been working on the invention of a vaccine so that they can resume all the trade and businesses. But even after a vaccine comes out, the world would not be the same as it was before the pandemic.

The world after the pandemic would not be the same and the majority of the people around the world are very much aware of that fact. Not everyone before the pandemic used a hand sanitizer or washed their hands regularly as a part of their hygiene. But after the pandemic, almost everyone will be aware of its importance and staying healthy. We cannot rule out the fact the involvement and impact all the people’s livelihood had on each other’s lives. The post pandemic world’s business and trade is going to take a different direction considering the difference in people’s mindset after the pandemic. Also, many new inventions are starting to take place which are on the basis of working from the comfort of their home. The life of people inside their home is starting to become easier than ever very quickly. Since many technological companies such as Google and Microsoft have allowed their employees to work from their home. They even have started to offer them to work like that for the rest of their life which is a boon to not only the comfort of the employees but also the nature as it would cut the travelling and hence resulting in less pollution. It would not take long for the other companies to follow them and start providing the same to their employees. Another factor which increased in its own way during this global lockdown is the small scale industry sector. People have started using more indigenous products as the import of products from other countries had come to a halt. This has resulted in making people realize about the domestic and indigenous products which also is cost effective. This sector is bound to grow in the post pandemic world. The education system has been a really big challenge to the government since the most important examinations were also postponed and many students faced many problems. Most of the education was carried out online and it is going to be the same for some part in the post pandemic scenario. This mode of education will be more of a potential and comfortable way even though not being the most effective one. Also, another sector which witnessed an even bigger surge is the E-commerce platform since the people were in their homes and it is bound to grow further even after the pandemic as a better option for shopping. One thing which people do not really talk about much is the transport facility being hit due to the lockdown which is a huge source of national income for every government and it is bound to take a different direction too after the pandemic gets over. Since more and more people have started to rely on the online mode promoting their products, the transport would not be their primary concern. Since there would not be a potential lockdown in the future, there will be some strict rule to follow which will be imposed by the government to all the citizens. Speaking of the quality of life of the people, we cannot deny that it has really improved during the quarantine and it all happens to be for everyone to find the perfect balance between family and work. People have started to tend more towards health and fitness more than ever now and that is going to be another thing to look at since many people are going to take the right decision in by staying fit. Many countries do not approve the fact that that they did not handle the situation really well but little do they know what other countries are up to after the pandemic.

Dil Bechara was amazing, but the hype does justice neither to Sushant nor to John Green's bestseller.

Dil Bechara was supposed to break hearts......       Yes. It is true that the movie which "eventually became" the most awaited movie of most of the Bollywood fans got an IMDb rating of 9.8/10. But would this movie had pulled this record-breaking rating without Sushant's demise? The answer would be a disagreement. Sushant did make the character work which was given to him. He along with Sanjana did manage to make a way through the hearts of many people. They even managed to make people realize the very few moments they can enjoy with the loved ones around them. But the only fact that the movie gets slightly diminished from my point of view having read the book 'The Fault In Our Stars'(the original novel from which it is based) is that the director chose to change a few things present very clearly in the best selling book from author John Green.  The movie shouldn't have been altered compared to the book     The movie was based on the book, yes, but did the di...
